This is an exciting and challenging role based in the Neighbourhood Services East Team.
You will be expected to have a high level of customer care and computer skills. You should be able to visit various locations on the East to Identify issues around Fly tipping on Housing land. Using Engagement, Education and Enforcement to educate residents and tenants, to change behaviours and to support Birmingham City Councils Clean and Green agenda
Grade 3 - £23,194 - £29,438
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working 36.5 hours per week
You will be expected to deal with a number complex issues such as: Fly tipping, Graffiti issues, Abandoned vehicles , Parking issues on our estates and even organise clearances with our private contractor.
You will need to be able to liaise with many agencies such as : Parks, Environmental teams, Waste enforcement, The Police, Fire Service, voluntary organisations and resident groups. You will need to be able to organise groups and and set up litter picks with local schools etc.
You will need to be an excellent communicator and have experience of talking to Residents on many different subjects, giving then help and advice around environmental issues.
There is a lot of lone working and you be expected to work from various locations.
