General Assistant 

Permanent 

Grade 1 - £20,258 - £20,812

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working 12.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 11.15am to 1.45pm Term time only plus 3 non term time days.

St Benedicts Primary School, Small Heath, B10 9DP. 

Complete mandatory training as required to include but not limited to food allergens, health & safety, and food hygiene as required. 

To assist in the basic preparation of food and refreshments, which may include some cooking.

To assist in the care and cleaning of all kitchen equipment  (either Production kitchen, Cook Serve or Dining Centre / Wash up).

To prepare dining rooms, including movement / lifting of dining room furniture and the laying of tables.

To erect and dismantle dining room furniture where necessary.

To serve meals and other refreshments in accordance with either Service Level Agreement / Contractual arrangements.

To assist in the cleaning of the kitchen, dining room and kitchen equipment, including washing up, sweeping and mopping.

To assist in the checking and storage of deliveries.

To maintain at all times standard of dress and appearance as appropriate to policy.

To assist, when necessary, with promotional activities/special events. This may include occasional evening work, i.e. parents evening, taster sessions, etc.
