An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Service Assistant to join our new Intervention Hub.
The Intervention Hub provides a range of intervention services with the ambition of providing early and proportionate intervention for children/young people and their families. The services have the objective of minimising the need for children to become looked after by supporting families to stay together where it is in the child’s best interests and wherever it is safe to do so.
This is a fixed term contract until 31 March 2024
Hours - 37 per week
We are looking for exceptional candidates who are passionate, committed and dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people.
The role is to provide administration support to the Family Solutions Team. This will include:-
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of information
- Updating the Early Help System.
- Prioritising incoming post and messages and alerting officers & practitioners to matters which require attention
- Maintaining files and record systems including scanning and uploading of documents;
- Ensuring that tasks allocated are completed accurately and within allocated timescale.

What you need to be successful in this role:
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role;
- Will hold NVQ Level 1 in Business Administration or equivalent, together with GCSE Maths & English or equivalent;
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages;
- Have experience of prioritising and organising own workload.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail;
- Have the ability to plan & organise diaries
- A standard DBS check will be required for this role.
