An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to lead History, Geography and MFL across our ever-improving school. The Governors and senior leaders are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated teacher and subject lead who will play a significant role in the further development of our school curriculum as part of our hard-working Middle Leadership Team. Rood End Primary is a 2-form entry primary school situated in Oldbury.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring our children have the very best school experience and who shares our very high expectations of children’s learning, achievement and behaviour. You will be able to demonstrate that you are an experienced and inspirational classroom practitioner who can motivate pupils and colleagues with strong leadership skills and that you are committed to working in partnership with pupils, parents, governors and the wider community.

The teaching commitment will be in Y3 in the first instance. The post is not suitable for ECT’s.

GRADE:  Teachers Main Pay Range to Upper Pay Range (£28,000 - £43,685 p.a.) plus TLR 2a
