The Governors of The Federation of Abbey Infant and Junior School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Administration Assistant to assist with administrative support within the school offices.
The successful applicant will work in a very busy office and have the ability to work under pressure and be flexible at all times. They will be required to carry out duties including: the administration and maintenance of the Breakfast and After School Club to include the monitoring and processing of fees and vouchers. Accurate recording of income, creating reports and statistics. Input and upkeep of pupil records and creating daily registers.
The administration for Off-Site, After School Activities, Extra Curricular Activities, Music Tuition, booking events, services and transport.
Receiving goods, checking delivery notes, processing orders on FMS (Schools Financial Management System).
Data input within SIMS, ParentPay, Tali (Fund Manager) and FMS. Reception, telephone and general administrative duties will also be required, which will include liaison and electronic communication with pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
The appointee will be expected to train in other administrative tasks as required in order to provide cover in the case of absence. In addition, the post holder will be trained as an appointed First Aider.

An enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references are therefore required for this role. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role. Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE.
