1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, caring and cooperative addition to join our Teaching Assistant team at Brookhurst. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Teaching Assistant level 2 qualification and an interest in helping children achieve their best. The post holder will become part of our SEN team, with an initial specific role in Early Years as a 1:1.

The hours of work will be 35 hours per week - 8.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday term time, plus 5 teacher training days. At lunchtime you would then join our team of lunchtime supervisors to assist in the supervision of the children within the dining hall or on the playground. The hours of work for this will be 2.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You would also have a 30 minute lunch break.

The salary will be £19,154 pro rata.
