This is a fixed term post for 12 months.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council currently play a significant part in assisting local economic recovery by supporting individuals into employment via largescale employment support programme.
The role will involve supporting those who require expert employability support and/or those with barriers requiring additional specialist support and interventions.
The role would suit individuals who like to work at a fast-paced targeted environment. We are currently accepting applications from individuals who want to join us and be a part of our Jobs, Enterprise and Training (JET) service.
We would like to hear from individuals who have proven success in terms of meeting targets and experience in Careers Information Advice and Guidance, Recruitment Consultancy, Employer Engagement, Employability Training, and Self- Employment Business Advisors. Employment Advisor.
This role will involve supporting unemployed individuals back into employment and supporting those with significant barriers to progress.
We don’t expect all applicants to have worked in this sector before, but experience is welcomed.
We’re keen to hear from candidates who have worked in other sectors with a support focus and who can demonstrate the behaviours needed that we can develop into the skills required for this role.
