School Cleaners required – various hours available, AM/PM shifts
Hourly rate Band B (£11.59 - £11.79)
Oak Wood Schools are seeking to recruit cleaning staff to join our friendly site services and cleaning team to work in our Primary and Secondary Schools.
These roles are being offered flexibly on various shift patterns either before or after school hours. Contracts are term time only with some specified days over the Easter half term and Summer holiday periods. Duties will include but are not limited to: sweeping, hoovering, general cleaning and sanitising in all areas within school, emptying bins, window cleaning at safe levels, and tackling any other spillages, mess etc. as required around the school site. You will be provided with the required training and PPE and are expected to comply with COSHH and H&S practices at all times.
Oak Wood Primary and Secondary Schools are special schools which are part of Central England Multi Academy Trust. Pupils at Oak Wood are aged from three to nineteen years. The schools provide education, therapy, support and facilities for pupils with learning, physical, medical, sensory and communication difficulties who have an Education Care and Health Plan (EHCP).
Oak Wood Schools are pro-active in supporting staff in a range of professional development opportunities. The successful applicants will be expected to undergo core training to support them in the role.
