Job Details
Cape Primary is a ‘Good’ school as verified by OFSTED in June 2023. We are a vibrant three form entry, multicultural primary school based in the heart of Smethwick on the border of Birmingham. We are looking for great learning support assistants to work across our school . We have a hardworking, dedicated team of staff who work together to raise standards and ensure high aspirations of every child they teach. Our children are polite and friendly and show a willingness to learn.
Developing the whole child is at the heart of what we do and we believe firmly in preparing each and every child for the next stage of their journey.

Our School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups including children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references are therefore required for this role. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role. Online searches and pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with KCSIE.

32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 days. Fixed term until 31 August due to working with 1:1 pupils
