Job Description

Title:                      Administrator

Responsibilities:   To provide administration support to all aspects of the work of SpeakEasy N.O.W. and ensure the effective running of the SpeakEasy office.

Location:               SpeakEasy N.O.W. office - St Richard’s House, 22 Victoria Square, Droitwich, WR9 8DS               This role is office based.

Hours:                   22 hours per week – to be worked over 4 days

Pay:                       FTE: £25,979 (Actual £15,447)

Accountable to:     Business Manager

Activities:

 

  • Act as first point of contact for incoming calls, enquiries and visitors Setting up face to face and online meetings Booking and liaising with venues for meetings and events Liaise with staff and members to plan and distribute meeting agendas Take minutes at meetings Update SpeakEasy N.O.W.’s social media pages and website Collate newsletters and create promotional materials Ensure any documentation in formatted into Easy Read, when required (Training will be given). Administer the DBS process Document filing and shredding Order stationery, stamps & copier supplies Administer the petty cash float Support members or volunteers working in the office Mail out correspondence when required Ensure that information on databases is up-to-date

General

  • Ensure that work carried out is in accordance with SpeakEasy N.O.W. written policies and procedures. Attend Speakeasy N.O.W. staff meetings, supervision meetings and training activity as required. Promote the values of SpeakEasy N.O.W. and the importance of self-advocacy for people with learning disabilities and / or Autism.
