Casual Residential Child Care Worker

Grade 6: £13.69 to £14.91 per hour at basic rate, with additional enhanced Sleep in and Weekend rates as applicable.

18 Tipton Road provides a safe, nurturing, caring and stimulating environment for up to seven young people aged between 8 and 18 years who have complex needs and may be experiencing a range of difficulties including physical, sensory and moderate to severe learning disabilities or complex, social emotional and behavioural difficulties.

An opportunity has arisen for two Residential Child Care Workers to join our casual staffing list to cover shifts within the home.

This is a casual contract which will require flexibility to work when required.

 

 

 

Under the supervision of a registered manager, you will contribute to all aspects of the physical and emotional care (including personal care) of the children so as to promote their welfare whilst working in partnership with the family and other professionals.

If you are child centred with a consistent approach and feel you could contribute to the safeguarding and the quality care of children and young people in residential care, then we would like to hear from you.
