Job Information: To meet the needs of our pupils, the opportunity has arisen for two L3 Teaching Assistants to join our team at Yardley Wood Community Primary School. Our school sits at the heart of Yardley Wood and we are proud to serve this community. It is a good place to work and learn! We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants who will contribute to the further development of our pupils. They will be part of a supportive team, whose aim is to help children reach their full potential. If you are looking to work in a friendly and close knit community school, then this could be the opportunity for you. We are looking to recruit TA’s with any of the following areas of experience :

• Y6 (TA support between two Y6 classes)

 

• Y1 (Class based support, plus a Read Write Inc group for an hour each day)

 

• EYFS (with a experience of supporting children with SEND needs)

 

To be considered for the posts, you must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and must have experience of working with young people, ideally in one or more of the 3 primary school key stages. Please make it clear on your application which age groups you are most effective with. Our TAs are all contracted for 35 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.00pm every day. The roles will start as soon as the successful candidates are able, and once all pre-employment checks have been completed. We are aiming for a January start.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
