The Role:
Howbury House is 32 bed residential home. We are registered with CQC to provide personal care to people living with us.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a team leader at Howbury House; this is full time permanent post of 37 hours.
This role is to assist the Registered Manager in the management and administration of the Service and assuming responsibility for the Service in the absence of the Registered Manager, to ensure the smooth running of the centre and to maintain quality standards in line with CQC registration.
You will work at a Team leader level to senior, care and ancillary staff.
You will have responsibility for the supervision of a staff group and this will include absence and performance management, managing rotas, Health and safety, staff training and quality assurance.
It is essential that you have considerable experience with providing support to people living in residential care and an in depth understanding of the rights and needs of people living with dementia.
You will need to have excellent communication, prioritization, organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to record information, proficient in the use of IT systems and have an in depth knowledge and understanding of CQC and relevant care legislation.
