KEY STAGE 3 LEARNING MENTOR – TEMPORARY POST TO 31 AUGUST 2018 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE
Term time only – 37 hours per week
NJC Level 4 (Scale Point 22-28) - Actual pay £17,593 - £21,257 p.a.
Required for September 2017, a KS3 Learning Mentor, to work with and mentor a number of our KS3 students. The successful candidate will support the academic achievement of these students. This is an exciting and diverse role which provides the opportunity to work with students as they make the transition through KS3 and in to KS4 learning. We expect the role to focus on students’ progress (their attendance in school is pivotal) and this will involve liaising between staff and parents, with particular emphasis on our pupil premium cohort.
You will be qualified at least to degree standard and have a commitment to working positively with young people.
