Full Time Experienced NVQ L2 Teaching Assistant within Early Years (Temporary to cover Maternity Leave).  (8.30am-4pm  Monday - Friday)

Required from 4th September 2017

St John`s Primary School are looking to appoint a unique, forward thinking teaching assistant within the Reception Class with the creativity to make teaching and learning work for our pupils. A commitment and energy that enables children to progress attain their full potential and succeed beyond primary school, both personally and academically, is essential.

High expectations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important, as well as a good sense of humour. Our children are enthusiastic and hardworking. They deserve a practitioner who is motivated and inspirational, has a thirst for learning, and a sound understanding of the pedagogy behind teaching and learning.

When applying for the post, prospective candidates should state their key stage experiences and/or preferences, as well as any curriculum strengths and interests.

As part of the recruitment process we will observe you teach in our school and through informal and more formal tasks, aim to get to know as much about you as we can.
