Salary pro rata to 11.25 hours per week (Working over 5 days p.m.) term time only. Please note this is a temporary position in the first instance.

The successful candidate must be a good team player with excellent communication and IT skills. They should be enthusiastic, well-motivated and committed to young children and their development.

It is essential that candidates can demonstrate that they have a proven ability to work across all key stages.

The successful candidate will join a friendly, supportive, very hard working and committed team who share a strong desire to bring about further, rapid, school improvement for our school community. Candidate must be trained to HLTA standard

Core duties will be:

1. To plan and prepare lessons.
2. Evaluate pupil progress.
3. To interest and motivate pupils and advance pupils' learning using clearly structured teaching and learning techniques.
4. To use behavior management strategies in line with the schools policy and procedures.
5. To promote and support the inclusion of all pupils.
6. To guide the work of other adults supporting teaching and learning in the class room where relevant.
