Administrator, Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board
Warwickshire Safeguarding Children Board is a statutory partnership whose members include Warwickshire County Council, the district and borough councils, police, health organisations, probation and the Youth Justice service, and its function is to coordinate interagency children’s safeguarding in the county. The board undertakes a range of learning and improvement activity, publishes safeguarding procedures and practice guidance, and provides interagency safeguarding training. The board has an independent chair who is supported by a small business team, and we are seeking additional capacity in the team because of an increase in the amount of work we are supporting.
27.0 Hours per Week
Fixed term contract for twelve months.
This role is part time, 27 hours per week with some opportunity to negotiate when the hours are worked.
The role primarily supports the learning and development functions of the team, including the practical arrangements for training delivery, taking training bookings and maintaining related records; supporting the creation of newsletters and briefings, and maintaining the website.
The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and competent and have an eye for detail as well as good organisational and IT skills and be familiar with using Word and Excel. Experience of working in a safeguarding or partnership environment would be an advantage.
