Level 2 Teaching Assistant required in Pre-school

From September 2017                                 

Hours – 18.75 hours per week afternoons only for 39 weeks

We are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Level 2 / Grade 3 teaching assistant to join our hard working Pre-school team in September 2017, to develop and enhance our provision with high quality support for each child’s learning. Our pupils are happy children who are keen to learn and we have high expectations to inspire them to make good progress through the Early Learning Goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential: Minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent with Early Years training and experience (not just KS1 & 2)

Desired: Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum & Early Learning Goals, training, knowledge & experience in safeguarding, food hygiene & first aid.

The interview process will comprise of an observation of each candidate sharing a book/reading a story with a small group of our pre school children, then some questions asked by a small panel of staff, including the Pre-school manager, Headteacher and possibly a Governor.
