Teacher of Science - Perryfields High School
Perryfields is a popular and successful 11-18 school with an excellent track record of ensuring that pupils achieve their potential at GCSE and A-level. Our success is built on a foundation of quality teaching, good behaviour and positive relationships between staff, pupils and parents.
Our Science Department is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our friendly and forward-looking team. Currently, AQA Trilogy and Separate Science courses are offered at GCSE, with Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-level. We also run a thriving extra-curricular STEM club.
The successful candidate will be passionate about Science and committed to maximising students’ achievement through excellence in teaching and learning. The ability to teach across the science disciplines at KS3 is essential, while the ability to teach at least two of Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE is desirable. A management role within the department may be available for more experienced applicants for which there is a negotiable TLR, however, NQT’s are equally welcome to apply.
Our new science colleague will benefit from a thorough professional development programme and strong support within a collaborative department.
Application forms and further details are available from the school on 0121 421 7979 or email Beverly.firstname.lastname@example.org
Interviews will be held on Friday 30th June 2017
