Environmental Protection Support Officer

Our Regulation & Enforcement Service brings together all our related functions including environmental health, licensing, community safety and planning enforcement. This is an exciting post that will support our officers working in Environmental Protection. The team have a broad remit of work that includes environmental crime, nuisances, public health, housing standards, animal welfare, dog control and pollution control. This role is central to everything the team does, and involves receiving enquiries from the public via email, online form and phone; creating and allocating new cases; providing initial advice to the public; and providing administrative support to the team. We are looking for someone with:
- 3 GCSEs grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- Good IT skills
