Salary: G6 £21,745- £25,694 per annum
Walsall Register Office is looking to appoint a suitably experienced Registration Officer in a busy and challenging environment.
We are seeking a customer focused, dynamic, and pro-active person to join the Registration team to help to deliver a financially efficient service including the registration of births, deaths, stillbirths, marriages and civil partnerships and other statutory and non statutory services.
The successful candidate will be someone with previous experience of working in the Registration Service. You will have a high degree of self motivation, commitment and flexibility and will work to ensure that registration services are delivered to the highest standard according to statute, council policy and our service aims and objectives. You will be able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines. You must be a highly motivated individual who understands the demands of working within this type of environment and will have a good understanding of the sensitive and confidential nature of the service. Excellent organisational and communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail are required. You must be able to work productively as part of a team.
