Hours of work:           9 hours per week all year (working 18 hours alternate weeks on a job share basis with the current site technician for the Autumn Term). Hours will increase to 18 hours per week from January 2018.


Salary:                        Grade 3 (point 10-13)

                                    £15,613 - £16,491 per annum pro-rata

We are looking to appoint a Site Technician for our Infants School and Nursery. You will be joining a dedicated team who are committed to carrying out site supervision duties to a high standard to support the effective operation of the school.  You will be responsible for security and key holder duties, health and safety checks and for carrying out general site maintenance and repair work; including painting and decorating. Record keeping and some lifting/carrying and lone working will be required.  You will also be required to cover out of hours emergency call-outs and lock-up following evening hire of the building.

Hours of work include before school, after school and evening and we can offer some flexibility regarding working hours as long as the needs of the school can be met. These will be discussed at interview.

The post is subject to attendance at Safeguarding Level 1 Training upon appointment. Ongoing Health & Safety training will be provided for this post.
