The Treasury and Pensions team is a small team of finance professionals that have dual responsibilities for both Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Pension Fund. This is a crucial point in time for Warwickshire Pension Fund as 2018 marks the start of a lengthy and complex process of transitioning fund assets to the Border to Coast Pensions Partnership in response to Government legislation requiring Local Government Pension Schemes to pool assets together. The County Council's treasury function also continues to present challenges with historically low interest rates and wider economic uncertainty.
Manage the treasury team in regard to cash flow, short term investments and long term financing.
Manage the accounting arrangements of the pension fund including general ledger, preparation of final accounts, the management of the external audit and production of fund annual report.
37.0 Hours per Week
A full professional qualification (CCAB) and substantial experience in a finance environment including line management of staff.
