Herefordshire Adults and Well Being are developing adult social care services in keeping with the new responsibilities under the Care Act April 2014. We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and dynamic practitioners to join us in this opportunity to enhance the existing services.
You will be based in the County team.
You will be a qualified and experienced social worker, registered with HCPC. You will have a solid knowledge base within social work and strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a developed understanding of social care practice and legislation.
The County team specialises in cases requiring multi agency assessment and care planning. We are seeking staff who are confident social workers, comfortable working with cases that have complexity. The individuals we support may have needs due to mental health, learning disability an acquired brain injury or multiple diagnosis.
Our social work staff are crucial to delivering effective, safe front line services that safeguard, promote independence and ensure measurable purposeful outcomes for adults.
County team is supported by experienced managers and senior practitioners who are social workers with a wealth of knowledge and have the experience to lead supervise and support the County team effectively.
Herefordshire is a rural county and the ability to travel is integral to the post. The salary is competitive and relocation expenses are available where appropriate.
