This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and committed HR team, supporting management to deliver high quality services in a unionised environment.
As one of two Human Resources Caseworkers, working alongside the existing HR team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience within our organisations. This 12 month fixed-term contract offers a unique opportunity to engage with diverse HR casework, including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and capability cases.
You will be the first point of contact for customers contacting the HR Service for advice in relation to discipline, grievance, performance and attendance management. Proactively signposting customers for self-service and advising over the life of any resulting casework.
You will also deliver training courses relevant to Human Resources and Organisational Development.
You should be CIPD qualified to Level 5 or have equivalent experience (evidenced by CIPD Associate level membership), have experience of working in an HR environment and be able to demonstrate practical experience of advising managers dealing with HR casework at all stages. You will be self-motivated, well organised and able to deal with conflicting demands, and with excellent presentation skills.
