School Office Manager - Tettenhall Wood School

The school is preparing for an exciting new chapter and are seeking to appoint an Office Manager on a permanent basis.

Based in the school office, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the school’s administration. You will be overseeing the school’s administration team and reporting to the Headteacher. Areas of responsibility would include school’s attendance, Reception, HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Policies.

The school are looking for someone who is: An enthusiastic and approachable team player, with excellent people skills. A positive and friendly ‘face of the school’. A highly effective communicator, with the ability to develop effective relationships. A bright, proactive, well-organised, flexible and committed individual with effective written and oral communication skills.

The role will ideally suit people who wish to work in a vibrant and challenging SEND environment.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate:

• their experience of all aspects of school administration and health and safety management
• solid IT skills, including experience of SIMS and all Microsoft Office products
• flexibility
• their ability to work using own initiative, and work effectively as part of a team
• how they communicate clearly and effectively with pupils and colleagues
• the desire to take ownership of tasks
• the passion and commitment to supporting children and young people with Special Needs

37 hours per week - term time only plus 4 weeks

Grade:

Grade 5 Pt 12 to 16 (£27,803 to £31,364 – Pro rata) Actual starting salary grade 5 Pt 12 is £26,047 per annum
