The Site Manager holds a key position in our school and has responsibility for health and safety legislation, security, maintenance and cleanliness of the building and grounds, managing and liaising with contractors. The Site Manager will also oversee the external contract cleaning team, must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.
Main areas of responsibility of the position is security of the whole campus, locking and unlocking of the building, health and safety of the school buildings, maintaining the school’s grounds in between the contractor visits along with risk assessments and fire log monitoring. A good range of DIY skills is essential, with a working knowledge of COSHH and other statutory Health and Safety Regulations is a distinct advantage.
You must be able to demonstrate your maintenance and IT skills uploading vital weekly/monthly data to smartlog. You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines. We need someone who is organised and efficient to ensure the day to day workload is managed effectively. The working hours are Full Time all year round.
