Reception Class Teacher (Maternity cover)
Fixed term for 12 months - from June 2024 (September start available for the right candidate)
Salary MS1 – UPS3 £30,000 to £46,525 per annum
John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, Fradley Park Primary and Nursery School are seeking to appoint a class teacher who understands ‘what happens early, matters for a lifetime’. We are looking for a dedicated and caring teacher who can work well as part of a team, to support the Reception children at a crucial time in their school journey. This maternity cover provides a great opportunity, for the right person, to join the school’s supportive, passionate team of professionals as they work with determination to shape this new school.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a thorough and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the Early Years foundation stage curriculum
- Encourage all pupils to reach their true potential and become independent learners with a positive attitude to life-long learning
- Provide a challenging, yet supportive learning environment which stimulates maintains and develops lively enquiring minds
- Be an excellent communicator who works in collaboration with families for the benefit of the child.
