Do you have a passion for helping children thrive? Are you able to inspire them to get the best from them?
We are looking for an outstanding teacher with a passion for providing children who are vulnerable and / or have special needs with the best possible education. You will be energetic and have a strong sense of moral purpose, with a wish to achieve the highest standards to ensure best outcomes for pupils.
Our Foundation Directorate provides a therapeutic, nurturing environment for students with a curriculum which is broad and balanced, organised into themed topics and supports their social and emotional growth as well as their academic progress.
There is one Foundation group in each year from Y7 to Y11, with their own base classroom. The team comprises a number of staff who only teach the foundation students, other subject specialists at KS4, and, a group of support staff who work in partnership with the teachers to provide the support, intervention and family liaison that is crucial to the success of the students.
The work done by our Foundation team is highly regarded by parents, the community and within the Multi Academy Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department and the SENCo and will also liaise with a wide range of external partners.
We are happy to receive applications from candidates with any subject discipline, but we will be looking for experience and success with vulnerable children and those with SEND. Please explain in your application how your experience to date has equipped you to be successful in this role.
Finham Park Multi Academy Trust requires all applicants to be eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions as we are unable to offer sponsorship/work visas. You will be required to provide proof of Right to Work at interview stage and if you are offered a job position with us.
Closing date for applications: Wednesday 14th February 2024
