Coventry City Council is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to act as the client’s representative to assist with the efficient and effective delivery of a range of construction projects.
You’ll be part of the well respected Project Delivery Team, which leads on the delivery of the City’s varied capital programme of works, where you will manage and control projects and co-ordinate consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery of clients requirements.

You’ll need:

With a degree or demonstratable relevant experience, you’ll have excellent project management skills, with significant experience of construction contracts and contract administration.
Preferably a member of a professional organisation ( RIBA, RICS, APM etc) you will be a strong communicator, able to maintain high standards in pressure situations and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment to deliver projects on time, on budget and to a high quality.
In addition, you will be skilled in the use of a range of IT to include Microsoft Project.

The well-respected, friendly, Project Delivery Team consists of project managers and clerk of works and is the go to area for all major capital works within the City. Work undertaken varies in both scale and type making for an interesting portfolio which will allow you to gain exposure to a variety of work types.
