Who we are looking for

We are a new and forward thinking Autism Specific Specialist Free School seeking to appoint a dynamic and highly effective ICT Technician provide high quality technical assistance to staff and students. As ICT Technician you will be responsible for general maintenance of computer equipment and for the resolution of basic technical problems, as well as undertaking general tasks which will promote the use of IT. You will be responsible to the Site Facilities Manager/IT Technician and will need to operate within a high level of confidentiality ensuring security of data at all times.

Supported by the National Autistic Society Academies Trust, we cater for up to 60 young people aged 4-19 with Autism and Asperger Syndrome. As a part of the NAS Academies Trust, we are developing significant professional and working partnerships with the already established Independent NAS schools drawing on knowledge and expertise through professional working relationships to ensure best practise is shared.

We aim to deliver the highest level of education and experiences to ensure the best life chances become a sustainable reality for every young person (on an individual needs led basis). Together, we will create a safe, positive and structured environment in which every young person is respected and encouraged to achieve independence (through academic, employment and personal skills development).
