(Salary £7,107 - £7278 pro rata)

 

1:1 Teaching Assistant

25 hrs per week - Temporary Position - Grade 2

(Salary £11,845 - £12,131 pro rata)

 

The governors at Forsbrook CE Primary School are looking for two highly qualified and experienced professionals to work as specialist Teaching Assistants for two children with Education, Health and Care Plans.  These posts are temporary for 1 year initially but may continue beyond this time.    These posts require talented individuals who are flexible, creative and dedicated to supporting children with special educational needs and who are keen to be a part of our outstanding team.

All applicants must be qualified to at least NVQ3 or equivalent and have a calm and nurturing approach to children.  You must be committed to building upon children’s individual strengths and knowledge and be a passionate and reflective practitioner. 

 A successful SEND Teaching Assistant will:

- Demonstrate a proven track record of working with pupils with SEND

- Display excellent communication skills at all levels
- Have the ability to work in partnership with parents, teachers and other external support agencies.
- Have high expectations of children's attainment.

- Be caring and patient and able to cater for the individual needs of the child.
