Our Vision: ‘Ready, Steady, Grow’
A vacancy has arisen at our lovely rural village school for a class teacher in our mixed Year 1 / 2 class.
Our school is happy, caring and successful, with a committed, friendly and professional staff. We work closely with parents, our Governors and our local community in order to provide the very best opportunities for our pupils. People who visit our school regularly comment on the warm, family feel that pervades everything that we do. Our school is all about developing the whole child and providing them with a solid foundation for success in the future through our core values. Whilst we pride ourselves on strong academic success, our core purpose is to ensure that we help our pupils to discover their full potential in every aspect of their lives.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committed teacher to join our small and happy team. This role is in our KS1 mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class and is a job share for three days per week (Wed – Fri). We are passionate about ‘growing’ our staff, just as we are our children and we endeavour to provide our staff with a wide range of development opportunities, supporting them to achieve their aspirations.
The successful applicants will have:
- Good or outstanding practice with high expectations for achievement and behaviour
- A drive to support the whole school vision
- Dedication and a willingness to contribute to the whole school ethos
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (including spoken and written English)
