Position:              Examinations Invigilator, Level One

Start Date:          As soon as possible

Contract Type:  Casual

Hours:                  Working hours would be agreed ahead of examination periods, which fall                                           during term time

Pay:                       Grade 2, SCP 3 – Full time equivalent salary £22,737 per annum: £11.79 per                                       hour

Allowance:         n/a

Location:             Westwood College; however, you may on occasions be required to cover duties                                 at other schools across the Trust

We are recruiting for a number of well organised, efficient individuals with good communication skills to join our Team of Exam Invigilators, on a casual basis, to supervise students taking examinations.

You will help us to ensure that our students have a consistent experience throughout their examinations at Westwood College and that we comply with the necessary procedures and regulations.  Examinations take place throughout the school year.  Duties will include:

• Invigilating examinations following regulations and processes Supervising students entering the room and during the examinations Recording student attendance and absence by completing registers Carry out identity checks as required Issuing and retrieving examination papers Responding to student queries or report these to their Line Manager

The successful candidate should:

• Be accurate and reliable Be a good team player Have a flexible approach to be able to accommodate the examination timetable Have good literacy and numeracy skills and a good general education
