We are looking to recruit a Science Technician to work within a high-quality and well-resourced environment.
Responsibilities will include setting up equipment and resources for practical lessons, preparation, maintenance and storage of all apparatus, and materials. You may also be called upon to engage and support classroom activities with students.
25.0 Hours per Week
25 hours per week term time plus 5 days staff learning days; 39 weeks per annum.
Starting salary for a full-time post at Band E is within the range £16,491 to £17,772 per annum; starting point depending on experience and qualifications.
Actual salary is calculated at £9,526 to £10,266 per annum and subject to any continuous service.
The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm and skills to inspire students in Science and the ability to form excellent professional relationships. Good standard of numeracy, literacy and communication skills are essential for this role as is a well-developed attention to detail.
