We have a team of Teachers who work in a variety of ways supporting the teaching and learning of pupils. The successful candidate will join our fantastic team to provide support for children in our Special Resource Provision with special educational needs.
In this role, you will lead the provision of the Specialist Resource Base for children with
communication and interaction needs.
• To lead the strategic direction and development of the Specialist Resourced Provision
• To develop and share teaching and learning strategies which enhance the ability of students to
focus on their learning skills and take ownership of their own progress.
• To monitor, assess, record and report to ensure accountability.
• To promote, develop and sustain strong partnerships beyond the classroom which include home,
other agencies and community partnerships.
• To promote and support the shared values of continual improvement, accountability, and highquality provision.

To provide high quality, effective, flexible support for children placed in the Specialist Resource
Base including outreach to other schools when requested to aid re integration.
To support all staff in identifying the needs of SEN pupils and to disseminate effective teaching
To work with pupils, class teachers and parent/carers to ensure realistic and challenging
expectations of SEN pupils.
