An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Revenue and Benefit Services. We are looking to appoint a full time Business Rates Officer who will provide a professional and proactive customer focussed service to maximise income for the Council.

Location : Old Court Buildings, Priory Street, Dudley

Main responsibilities:

To assist the Billing Team Leader with all activities relating to the billing and collection of the Council’s Business Rates including:

  • The effective resolution of billing, inspection, valuation and recovery enquiries arising in respect of approximately 10,000 non domestic properties
  • Involvement in projects and initiatives to maximise the income for the authority
