Sessional Tutor Photography
Warwickshire County Council’s Adult and Community Learning Service provide a wide range of adult learning courses across the county. We are developing our provision for learners who have learning difficulties or disabilities and are looking for new tutors to join our pool of dedicated teachers.
We are looking for an inspirational Photography tutor to teach groups of adults with learning disabilities and learning difficulties. It is an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and skills to enable learners to express themselves in a creative way. You will need to have an innovative approach to teaching your subject and experience of working with learners with a range of disabilities.
Successful applicants will be required to work in a variety of locations across the county.
The current rate of pay is £15.99 per hour. One hour’s preparation and marking time is paid for every two hours of teaching.
Candidates will be asked to deliver a short teaching session as part of the selection process.
Successful candidates are likely to be experienced teachers of adults (in a formal or informal setting), with a sound knowledge of how adults learn and the range of approaches that can be used to support them. You must be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and to supporting the rights and aspirations of underrepresented groups.
