We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work within Year 5.


We are looking for: The successful person must be able to relate well to children and be keen to support their individual/collective learning needs and support at break and lunch times. 


The Learning Support Assistant’s main role is to provide high quality care and support for pupils within the classroom. The Teaching and Learning Support Assistant will ensure that all children can integrate as fully as possible and enable children to realise their academic potential.


Duties will include breaktime and lunchtime duties.


Applicants must have the ability to communicate well with children and adults. 


Applicants will be required to adhere to the terms and conditions of working within a school and be active in ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of children.


A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be desirable. KS2 curriculum and classroom experience is essential.
