The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust was formed by the Diocese of Coventry in 2013, and is now one of 2,500 Multi Academy Trusts in England. Now home to twenty-two academies spread across the Diocese of Coventry, we are one of the 100 largest Multi Academy Trusts in the country.

The role of Deputy CEO – Education was created to reflect the critical importance of a strong academy effectiveness offer. As well as being an important member of the Trust Leadership Team, deputising for the Chief Executive officer, the role requires building effective collaborative relationships with our key stakeholders, including the Regional Director, Ofsted, SIAMS, Local Authorities, the Church of England and the Diocese.

The successful candidate will be a highly credible school leader, with a supportive and collaborative approach to working with our Headteachers, delivering alongside and being highly visible to them. It is essential that candidates are supportive of our Christian vision and values, up to date with educational research and current policy and with an excellent awareness of inspection processes.

Of equal importance are the candidate’s ethical and inclusive leadership qualities, alongside an ability to challenge and support Headteachers and school leaders with kindness, and an unerring commitment to the development of everyone.
