Y6 Class Teacher and core subject leader – September 2024 M1-6 with TLR 3
‘Behaviour and attitudes are outstanding’ Ofsted June 2023

Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you want to be somewhere where the children and staff care and they work together to achieve phenomenal results? Are you ready to start making a real difference with support from an empathetic and experienced senior leadership team? Come join us at Wolvey!

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Year 6 Class Teacher with the potential to lead a core subject with a TLR point. The successful candidate will be an excellent class teacher with a unique ability to lead and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who can provide an exciting, high quality and innovative teaching and learning experience for our pupils, as well as being able to lead and develop a core subject across the school.

Our School
Wolvey CofE Primary School is an incredibly friendly and diverse, one-form entry school, with approximately 220 pupils on roll from Nursery to Year 6; it is a very exciting place to work and a special community to be a part of. Since federating in 2018, the school has embarked on an exciting and progressive school improvement journey. Our recent Ofsted inspection judged the school as ‘GOOD’ (June 2023). ‘This school is at the heart of its community. Pupils are very happy. They feel safe and well cared for.’

We are looking for someone who is committed to educating children in the widest sense and to the highest standard; to be able to champion teamwork, have a can-do attitude with a good sense of humour and be prepared to go that extra mile.

In turn, we can offer you:
•    Great facilities to create a vibrant, stimulating learning environment.
•    An opportunity for you to put your mark on an exciting and diverse community school and contribute to the development of our school on our journey to outstanding.
•    A supportive leadership team who will encourage innovation and initiative.
•    A wide support network due to our school federation with The Revel CofE Primary, developing exceptional practice and offering excellent CDP.

If you feel you have all the necessary attributes, are highly motivated, and dedicated to making a positive difference to children’s lives and want to be part of creating a legacy for the future - apply now! We look forward to receiving your application.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and strongly encouraged so that you can see first-hand just what we can offer. Visits welcome on: Please contact office@wolveyschool.co.uk or 01455 220279.

Interviews will take place on Monday 29th April 2024.
