Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen, to work within Learning Disability Day Opportunities. To be a part of our team providing day services for adults with disabilities and to be instrumental in the further developments of that service.
We are working to improve our service to better meet the individual needs of people , to focus on their strengths and abilities and maximise their life opportunities , supporting people to achieve their aspirations through outcome focused planning and support .
The successful applicant will be responsible for the management, continued development and improvement of our building based service focusing on complex needs, under the direction of the designated Disability Service Manager

Role Requirements:
- Professional qualification, NVQ3 Care, and experience working within a social care setting for Adults with a Disability.
- 3 years’ experience at a Management/Supervisory Level
- Demonstrable experience of working in a setting with leadership, and supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience of Risk Management for adults with a disability
- Experience of effective communication
- Experience of performance management of staff and services
- Experienced in working cooperatively with others
- Be able to think creatively and show innovation
- Experience using a range of ICT software applications to include but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Social Care systems.
- Experience of planning and setting up new services and activities.
- Must be 18 years or over.
You will also be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.
Hours
37 hours per week
