Business Manager

Salary: Grade 9 - £36,648 to £41,418

37 hours per week 8am – 4pm

Start Date as soon as possible

 

Due to the retirement of our existing postholder, we are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as our School Business Manager. This is a unique development opportunity to contribute to the success of The Cheadle Academy, under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team to deliver best value and achieve high standards that will significantly impact the life chances of our students. 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial: Oversee financial management, budgeting, and payroll administration. 

Human Resources: Manage HR processes and contribute to the development of a positive working environment. 

Facilities/Contract Management: Ensure the effective management of school facilities and contracts.

Catering: Oversee catering services to ensure a high standard of provision for students and staff. 

Health and Safety: Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to maintain a safe learning environment. 

Qualifications and Experience:  Experience in financial management, HR and facilities management. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to the overall vision of the school.
