Oakhill Primary School is a large primary school serving the Trent Vale and Oakhill area of Stoke on Trent. We pride ourselves on our nurturing approach. Our Governing Body wishes to appoint a dynamic, energetic and hard-working Assistant Headteacher, who is also organised, approachable and able to build excellent relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
It is essential that the post holder will add to the positive ethos of Oakhill, for the benefit of our children and staff, by being willing to take part in the wider life of the school.
The post holder will work closely with all staff; including support staff, teachers, phase leaders, Deputy and Headteacher.

We are not specifying all the key responsibilities as we want to find the right person for the role and we can negotiate areas of responsibility to suit the right candidate. There will be a 0.4 teaching commitment, initially in Y6, however this will only be for two terms, then any year group is possible.
