Mill House School is an independent school for pupils aged between 11-19 years for pupils with autism spectrum condition and anxiety. 


Mill House School has an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and dynamic candidate to join our team of educators as a Teacher of English. As a Teacher of English, you will share your skills and knowledge with learners and utilise your experience to enable students to achieve.


The school has a strong academic core, and therefore, the successful candidate will possess an appropriate degree and an endorsed teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards this. You will have excellent subject  knowledge and recent experience in the teaching of English across the age and ability range, including to at least GCSE level.


You will be part of an outstanding and supportive team where staff are determined to help every child in our school achieve academic, emotional and social success. In additional to providing opportunities to develop and enhance pupils’ personal skills and qualities, the school offers pupils the opportunity to achieve meaningful qualifications (GCSEs, BTECs and Functional Skills) to prepare them for further education, training and employment.
