Salary: Adult Lecturer points 16-18 (£30,102 - £32,425)
37 hours per week
We are looking for an inspirational teaching learning and assessment professional with experience of people management to lead our engagement and progression team and to take specific responsibility for the learning disabilities provision.
You should have substantial, successful, experience of teaching in an adult learning environment and hold a level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE). You should also have a relevant vocational, professional or academic qualification at a minimum of Level 3 and have English and Maths at Level 2. Knowledge of the requirements of a variety of exam boards, accreditation modes and means of assessment relevant to adult learners is essential. You should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of adult learning contexts and the motivations and barriers facing students particularly those at pre-entry and those with learning disabilities.
