We have two opportunities for experienced and successful teaching professionals to become part of the management of our curriculum teams.

Teaching Learning and Assessment Manager: Access to HE (1.0 FTE – 37 hours a week)
Teaching Learning and Assessment Manager: ALDD provision (1.0 FTE – 37 hours a week)

Adult Lecturer conditions - Salary Scale points 16 – 18 (£30,403 - £32,750)
All posts: 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

With substantial, successful experience of teaching and assessment in an adult learning environment and relevant specialist subject expertise, you will lead and line-manage a team of Tutors and Subject Leaders in the planning, delivery and evaluation of a programme of courses in your curriculum area. You will work closely with your Curriculum Manager to ensure the efficient and effective management of the curriculum area, continuous quality improvement, the consistent application of AEW policies and procedures and securing of positive outcomes for students.

You should have a teaching qualification at a minimum of Level 5, e.g. DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE. Academic staff will generally be expected to hold a degree or equivalent level subject qualification. For specific vocational areas, an appropriate Subject Specialist qualification at minimum Level 3 or equivalent commercial experience/technical expertise may be acceptable. You should also have a have English and Maths at Level 2.
