Class Teacher with a specialism in performing arts and dance
Full-Time; permanent: depending on experience
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a highly creative, dynamic, and passionate Teacher to join the thriving team at Regency High School. As a secondary special school, we cater to students with profound, severe or moderate cognitive and learning needs, as well as additional needs. The successful candidate will be teaching students across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
We welcome applications from both primary and secondary sector teachers, to join our team at Regency High School. While it would be advantageous for applicants to have experience working with pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities, it is not mandatory. However, we do require all candidates to possess a deep passion and dedication in providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences. - Experience and understanding of a wide range of pupil needs

- Evidence of contribution to the development of a successful curriculum area, including effective assessment strategies
- Experience of teaching dance.
- Experience of planning within a subject area
- Experience of resource planning and management

- Exemplary skills in planning and delivering programmes of work
- Commitment to ensuring high standards of planning, preparation and assessment
- Ability to co-ordinate and lead a team of TA’s
- Excellent literacy and communication skills, including the ability to create reports
- Effective ICT skills for information management and curriculum support
- The ability to deliver dance across different key stages.
