We would like to establish a bank of Relief Child Care Play Workers who are required on a casual basis.

The Relief Play Worker position will cover planned absences, staff illness and ratio requirements, across a variety of times sessions, between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00hrs during term time, inset days and holiday play schemes.

Candidates must have, at least, an NVQ level 2 Certificate in Children and Young People Workforce, its equivalent and willing to work towards an appropriate level 3 qualification. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with children and other adults, to develop a safe and caring environment, where children enjoy learning and playing.

Salary will be paid on Band A Point 7 to 11 currently £15,115 to £15,807 pro rata, dependant on experience and qualifications
