Internal Exclusion Manager

(37.5 hours per week, term time only; willing to consider full-time or job share)

Band C £23,893 to £27,334 pro rata

We have an opportunity to appoint a confident, caring and enthusiastic person to be our Internal Exclusion Manager.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Internal Exclusion room, ensuring that students are effectively supervised, that high standards of behaviour are maintained and work closely with our experienced and dedicated Pastoral Team.

The shared vision of the Trustees at Heart of England School is in Creating Futures and this applies just as much to the welfare, learning and success of our staff as it does to our students.

The successful candidate will:

•    Be educated to a good standard with a GCSE (or equivanet) in English and Maths (Grade C or above)

•    Be able to build positive and productive relationships with students and staff

•    Have the ability to work with and motivate disaffected students

•    Be familiar with behaviour management strategies

•    Share in our core values of Kindness, Honesty, Detemination, Courage and Humour
